Rahma is a Syrian national with a background in mental health, public health, gender-based violence and psychology.
Since 2018, she has worked with the Syrian American Medical Association. There she has been in charge of various responsibilities including conducting mental health awareness sessions, participating in distribution of relief aid and coordinating psychological support groups.
Prior to this, Rahma worked with the International Medical Teams Association to provide awareness sessions related to physical and mental health as well as worked with centers and medical teams in partnership with the United Nations.
She has also worked with organizations Intersos and Kafa on gender-based violence.
Mohammed is a Syrian national with a background in mental health, public health, psychology and electronic engineering.
He has been working as a facilitator at the British AMNA association for psychological support projects, leading programs such as sports training in a psychological support project for war affected children. There, he also worked with public health doctors on projects for shelters in war as well as coordinated with Lebanese shelters and associations.
Before this, Mohammed worked with the International Organization for Human Rights and the Medical Association Endless Medical Advantage. Furthermore, Mohammed has delivered awareness sessions on gender-based violence and early marriages as well as completed courses on children’s mental health and first aid courses.
